This fictional narrative, published in sundry parts and spokes, weaves deep ecology principles into the quandary that is the present. Inspired by Alan Drengson’s Doc Forest and the Blue Mountain Ecostery (a ecotopian novel published in 1993) this novel tells the tale of Bog Turtle Ecostery, located in the hills of the Allegheny Plateau, and the spirit and sorrows and solace of living deeply in place.
